Je suis sceptique tout de même car la saison 1 en HD-DVD avait des sous-titres français et tous les blu-ray d'Universal en ont jusqu'à présent.

Oui, pour l'instant ils ont les "specs" sur la saison 4.5 en blu-ray, et apparemment pas de français :s

J'espère que le reste de l'intégrale en aura, wait & see ...

Battlestar Galactica sortira bien en Blu-ray

La rumeur était donc fondée : Universal sortira bien une intégrale Blu-ray de la série de science-fiction Battlestar Galactica, le 28 juillet prochain aux Etats-Unis.
Le même jour l'éditeur annonce la sortie d'un coffret saison 4.5 réunissant la petite douzaine d'épisodes venant concluer définitivement la série, du moins avant les inévitables spin offs et autres téléfilms.
Répartie sur 20 disques double couche (BD-50), l'intégrale devrait coûter environ 250$ (selon Amazon), et nous proposera une image au format 1.78:1 en 1080p (encodage VC-1) avec piste anglaise en DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 et sous-titres anglais et espagnols.
Le communiqué actuel ne fait pas mention d'une piste française ou de sous-titres dans notre langue, espérons qu'Universal - qui ne zone normalement jamais ses Blu-ray - ne cherche pas à préserver une quelconque exclusivité en voulant limiter l'import des coffrets.
L'éditeur a déjà dévoilé les suppléments de la saison 4.5 qui seront bien évidemment inclus dans l'intégrale, où l'on devrait trouver de nombreux autres bonus à définir.
Certains sites ont déjà diffusé le visuel du coffret DVD qui sortira à la même date, il semblerait que le coffret Blu-ray soit rigoureusement identique, voici donc quelques images de la version DVD pour patienter en attendant le visuel et les détails définitifs :

LE coffret de dingue 8O

J'ai vu que le pilote... ops: Ca me tente énormément de voir le reste mais faut du temps quoi...

C'est une série hors norme, qui a une qualité d'écriture rarement atteinte : personnages, intrigues etc. Sans parler des FX qui sont impressionnants (par rapport a Stargate diffusé en même temps il n'y a pas photo).

Le pilote est déjà excellent mais les 4 saisons (+ Razor) qui suivent... Pour moi c'est indescriptible. Notamment le final de la saison 3 ou j'ai complètement pété un câble avec un cliffhanger venant d'une autre dimension 8O

Maintenant il y a Caprica qui est en production, c'est un préquel qui raconte la création des Cylons jusqu'à leur rébellion (enfin normalement). Je n'ai pas encore vu le pilote mais a priori les producteurs de BSG ont encore frappé un grand coup.

Le coffret reprend tout excepté les webisodes The Face of the Enemy (entre 4.0 et 4.5) et évidement le film The Plan qui sera diffusé en fin d'année.

Je ne suis pas d'accord, quelques uns peut-être mais pas la moitié. Mais de toute façon toutes les séries TV ont des épisodes bien nazes, c'est impossible de maintenir une très bonne qualité tout le long d'une saison. Pour en revenir a BSG la fin de la saison 2/saison 3 fou une grosse claque (tout comme la fin de la saison 3) donc les épisodes du milieu de saison sont en retrait c'est évident mais de là à dire la moitié non.

Concernant les blu-ray on va voir les 3/4 qui vont venir se plaindre en disant : "la qualité est dégueue", "y a trop de grain !!","beurk", "bouh la hd et le bluré c naze". Ben que ce soit en divx, dvd, hd dvd et bientôt blu-ray il y a une volonté artistique derrière avec ce petit grain, que j'apprécie énormément.
